Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

I voted in these primaries and general elections:

2012 General Election, 2014 General Election, 2016 General Election

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Not applicable. I am not a Supreme Court Justice. This is a very polarizing issue that does nothing but impede productivity. Let's focus on things we can change and get something accomplished.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Send them home. Oh, I guess that wouldn't work....... because most of them are Americans. Maybe we should focus on the other greater threats facing our Nation first (like white supremacists).

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Greed. "Man" always wants more. Without defined, separated and limited powers, spelled out, a power grab would be inevitable.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, personal courage. Qualities I strive and pray for.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I am a member of the South Carolina American Party (AmericanPartySC.com)

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I have more than adequate and affordable health insurance. Amazingly, it's a result of the ACA (Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare). I paid the penalty the first year, without even investigating what was available and for how much. Just like for your car, if you want affordable insurance you need as many people as you can get, from all risk groups. Which means people need to agree on the importance of insurance to begin with.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Like many other things, they should stay out of it.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Here's that greed question raising it's evil head again. The typical member of Congress is a millionaire. Let's get some everyday Americans in Congress to change the tax code so it benefits everyday Americans.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

I don't think it can get much lower!

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

We need to do something! Like most problems facing America today, there aren't a lack of solutions, there is a lack of ACTION. If it's not influence and lobbying, it's political gridlock. There are many solutions that can increase the life of Social Security benefits, we just need someone willing to make the hard decisions and value people over politics.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I LOVE this Country.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Everyone complains about the two-party system, but when they have a choice, they don't want to "waste" their vote. If you think we have too many career politicians, if you think the system is corrupt, if you feel that no one in Washington cares about you, then you need a different Party, a different candidate.
