Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

If the birth would cause the death of the mother it should be a choice for her. The choice to end a pregnancy for this reason should be up to the parents and them only.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

It is not likely that the threat can be completely eradicated. Working toward such a goal we must start by changing the narrative put out that Islam is a religion of peace. Islam has never in its entire history been a peaceful religion. As a government we need to stop any and all US funds that go to any country that supports terrorism or human rights violations inflicted by Islam. We must maintain a strong military to fight terrorism when necessary. I believe far more can be done by removing the money used to finance the terrorists movements.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Mankind does not like being controlled. The founders lived under a tyrant that was trying to control everything. The founders did not like the fact that one man could make all the laws and tell everyone what was best for them. The founders knew that they would never be free to live as they pleased as long as they were ruled by a tyrant. In the nature of mankind the founders set up our government because they believed it would give the people the most freedom and the control of that government.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe the word of God in the Bible. I attend Calvary Taos church. The Bible is where my values come from. I grew up on a farm where I was taught to say yes Sir and Yes ma'am. I was taught and believe that a handshake should be good, firm and that it is your word.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Really the only thing publicly would be my posts on Facebook. I am also a member of the Calvary Chapel in Taos.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Health care is one sixth of the economy. The government should not be in charge of healthcare in any way. Our economic system is not designed for the government that does nothing efficient, to be in charge of any of the economy. The entire system should be in the free market. To help with the affordability Americans must do their part and take their own health more serious which would change the system by itself. If everyone would eat more healthy, get a bit of exercise, loose some weight and stop taking pills health care would change drastically. Just the pill addiction and the obesity problem costs billions a year to deal with. Currently there are far to many people on Medicaid. We need to move people out of poverty and off of Medicaid. If everyone would start being more health conscious, reduce the amount of people on Medicaid and leave the system to the free market healthcare will be accessible for everyone

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The first thing the federal government needs to do is reduce its size.A smaller government takes less of the taxpayers money to run it. This will allow a reduction in taxes paid by the people which in turn gives the people more money that they will spend and that boosts the economy. The Government needs to keep the boarders safe, secure and remove illegal people that take jobs from Americans. See that trade with other countries is fair. The government should reduce the amount of regulations that hinder business.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Even after the tax plan that the Republicans passed and president Trump signed our tax code is still the most complex on the planet. There's so much in the tax code that it's not likely than any one person knows or understands all of it. There are ideas like the fair tax or the flat tax they would I believe would work far better when the 20,000 pages of tax code that we have now. If we would greatly reduce the size of the federal government it would take less taxes to run it. The tax code good then be changed to reflect that.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Small business creates most of the jobs in the US. To create more jobs to bring down unemployment it needs to be easier for business to be created. Government gets in the way with to many regulations and taxes that are to high. Small business needs to be encouraged by reducing regulations and taxes and giving access to low interest small business loans. There are many jobs available for skilled labor but unfortunately there are no skilled labourers. By helping people get an education or skill we can fill these jobs which will also bring down unemployment.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

It needs to be taught at an early age that social security is not there to live on after a person retires. Social Security was meant to be a supplement to what people save over the years for their retirement. I believe if you ask the youth today if they would like to pay into that system until they reach retirement age or keep the money to do something with themselves I'm sure they would all keep it. As people live longer there are more people using Social Security for a longer time. This makes it impossible to guarantee that it will be there for future Generations without major changes like increasing the age and or amount that is removed from paychecks and put into the system. The best way to ensure that the population will have help when they become seniors is to instill in them when they're young to work and save for that time in their life.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have a lifetime of experience it will all play A Part and being a good public servant. I went back to school at age 46 to study for a psychology degree with a minor in political science. I am now a senior at the University of New Mexico. For my requirements every class that I took we specifically for something that I felt I needed to know more about for this job. History was one of the biggest reasons I wanted to go back to school to see how things develop from the industrial revelation through to how our government was created. For the past 7 years I have studied for this office and try to study a little of every issue that maybe discussed or brought before the house. Seven years ago big government knocked me all the way to homeless. I've made it from there to running for congress. So not only do I know how to fix poverty I also know that the American dream is still alive and well for anyone who chooses to follow their dreams.

E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you: PO Box 501 Angel Fire NM, 87710 575-643-5289

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I'm not a career politician nor do I want to be. I am of the people which is what our founding fathers intended. I understand the struggles that Americans face every day because I am one of them. I understand that $1,000 is a great deal of money and not just crumbs. I have studied and understand what our founding fathers were dealing with and why they created are Republic in the fashion that they did. My goal is to president Trump make America great again.
