Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

More restrictive gun control is needed to protect public safety.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Additional regulations are needed to prevent climate change.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

The United States should help defend Israel from attack by its enemies.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments.

Islamic law (Sharia) should take precedence over national and state laws where there are Islamic majority communities in the U. S.

Strongly Disagree

Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.

Strongly Agree

People should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on "gender identity."

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I am pro-life and do not believe in abortion. However, I do understand that sometimes there is grave risk to the mother, and it might have to take place for life saving measures.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

We need to defeat our enemies where they are to keep them from coming to our country and killing our citizens. We need to let the Generals decide how best to win our wars and conflicts, and keep politicians from telling them how to conduct operations.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The Founders understood that we are born with inalienable rights and that the government is of the people, by the people, and for the people.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian and believe that the word of God was, is, and will be the same, and never changing. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins, and if you accept him as your Savior you will spend eternity with Him in Heaven.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Portion of Voter's pamphlet: You deserve safety so that you can provide the very best for your family. I have worn a uniform for over thirty years. I have defended America and our communities my entire adult life and I will defend you in the Senate. The establishment has neglected us for too long, and now they obstruct President Trump from keeping his promises to you. Career politicians do not respect you or your values. Pull the plug, Drain the Swamp! We need to build a wall on the southern border to keep out drug cartels, gang members and terrorists. Border security is national security. You deserve to have the ability to defend yourself and your loved ones. That’s why I am a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment and life-time member of the NRA. You deserve low cost energy to heat your homes and drive your vehicles. America should be energy independent, and we do not need to buy oil from countries that use our money to fund terrorism.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I do not believe that the federal government should have a roll in health care. I believe that the free market should be allowed to work. The government has a habit of picking winners and losers. Americans know what is best for their families.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The government should get out of the way and let the free market work. There are far too many regulations, and regulations have a negative effect on our economy.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

We should have a flat tax, and all should pay taxes. It is very easy for people who don't pay taxes to vote to have politicians raise tax payers taxes. We should all have some skin in the game, and then maybe pro tax voters might change their minds and elect people who are for smaller government.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Put an end to "guest worker" visas. Guest workers are taking our jobs, and suppressing wages. Guest workers are competing with our citizens for well paying jobs, and large companies are hiring them because they can pay guest workers 70% of the going wages.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I don't know if we can guarantee Social Security for future generations. We have unfunded liabilities of over 200 trillion dollars. Everything on Earth is worth about that much. Congress has kicked the can down the road for too long and failed to take action. We have some tough times ahead of us. You should not count on the government to take care of you.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am an Army Airborne infantry veteran and a veteran Seattle Police commander. I have been wearing a uniform my entire adult life defending America, and our communities. I will defend you in Washington, D.C. I have had to make possible life and death decisions throughout my career. I make decisions daily. I have the ability to make sound decisions, and that comes from 32 years of wearing a uniform and protecting America.
