Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

While I don't agree with abortion, it is a difficult subject to address, and the ultimate decision should lay with BOTH Parents. Unless of course, one of them is not present due to choice. To prevent death of the mother, in circumstances of incest or rape, or if the baby will be sick or has disease are reasons I see Abortion being allowed. We need better sex education, because you do have a choice. The choice is to have sex or not. No one has ever died from a lack of sex, maybe depression... but not death. This is why to me, your choice is to be responsible. Use protection, condoms, IUD, shots, pills etc. But Ultimately, its left to the individual to be Responsible and use their common sense to not get pregnant if they do not want a child.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

To be perfectly honest the threat is just over hyped due to the Military Industrial complex that has grown without question in this country. General McArthur and Dwight D Eisenhower both warned about this: "In the councils of Government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist." The biggest threat to the United States by word of mouth from our current Secretary of Defense James Mattis is our 21,000,000,000,000 dollar debt. Its time to end the wars and bring our soldiers home, radical islam is not a treat to the United States the way our reckless spending is. The bipartisan Committee For A Responsible Federal Budget found that we only have 10 years.... until the economic collapse of the United States due to our debt to income ratio. Yet, both GOP and DNC do nothing but INCREASE spending. They are our biggest threat.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Greed and Power can ruin any man/woman. Senator Bernie Sanders and Rand Paul just had a meeting about our current congress trying to give full war powers to the president. This is an outrage! Madison wrote "The constitution supposes what history demonstrates, that the Executive is the branch most prone to war and most interested in it, therefore the Constitution has with studied care vested that power in the Legislature" The GOP and DNC do nothing but try to break the Constitution.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a curious man, I have studied many of the religions in close detail. But I am also a man of science, I love physics and astronomy. My personal belief is there is a God but not as people view him/her. Any book touched by humans on word of god from the Hindu to Islam, Christianity, and Shinto and more.... I take with a gain of salt. My biggest issue is: Most of these religions say the same thing "Worship the message, not the messenger" Yet, humans being humans.... we worship the messenger and lose sight of the truth and forget the original message. Everyone should respect each others beliefs and values. As long as those beliefs and values don't hurt others. The Romans, Sumerians, Egyptians all believed in their gods as the true gods...and now we call that Mythology. A little humility and love can make the world a better place. We love to be the star of our universe but as many sacred texts perpetuate in many different ways "Do onto others, as you would have done onto yourself"

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I am a Libertarian. Some of the questions here I left neutral. Why? Because its none of the governments business on a lot of them. You are born free, so live like it. Government is not the answer to all problems. Especially Federal government. State and local government can govern their people better. The government exist to SERVE. I am running to serve you, the people of district 8. Not a corporation, not a foreign nation like Israel, not a lobbyist group. I am running to serve the people of district 8 as their "Representative" Its literally in my job title. We the People of the United States are all equal, no one persons life has more value than another's. The President, Congress, Police, Governors, City Council, etc. They all exist to serve you! So stop letting them control you and take back your future!

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Even though I am a Libertarian and believe in free markets, there is no such thing in healthcare as a free market. Big pharma keeps regulation in check (crony capitalism) so our citizens cant purchase drugs outside of the country. Hospitals over price simple procedures and things like IV bags. They need to be regulated to offer the same price nation wide. We need to look at what countries like Japan and France are doing right, take the good and leave out the bad. Does that have to mean single payer healthcare? No, but there is a lot we can learn. For example, the under covered in healthcare in France is provided by a non-profit non-government organization. I believe kids under working age (>16) should be able to have free healthcare. As they are our future. We have to take care of our young people. I will gladly cover a child's healthcare. To fix these issues I believe we need an doctor controlled organization that self regulated not government controlled.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Well, one thing would be leaving it alone. Passing tariffs and other economic blunders do not help our economy. We need free trade, I think all economic barriers from other nations should be taken down. You don't need permission to sell your chairs to Romania, or your fruits to Russia. The best thing the government can do is make free trade possible.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Income tax and the IRS on individuals should be eliminated. The Government is not entitled to your labor. Paying taxes are understandable and are needed. But it should be a equal use system. I believe in a flat tax system where you are only charged taxes for the purchase of goods and services except food and water. I do not believe you should pay taxes to buy basic necessities such as food. Nor do I believe in the "pink tax" A tax on female products such as tampons which are necessities. People in this country pay too much in taxes, just an example: Income tax, payroll tax, property tax, consumption tax, sales tax, state income tax in some states, marriage license fee, local school tax, vehicle registration tax, business registration and permit fees, hunting license, inheritance tax, insect control tax, liquor tax, sports stadium tax, state park fees, 911 tax, recreational vehicle tax, was management tax, and the list goes on. You shouldn't have to live to pay taxes.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

By removing unnecessary paper work and regulations that prevent companies from acquiring more workers and providing more jobs. This country has become anti-small business. Even though small businesses employ more than 60% of the work force! The steps to financial independence and entrepreneurship should be easier for people not harder. We have lots of jobs unfilled currently in the trades sector. One of my most radial proposes is: Make Education Affordable Act I want to limit student loan companies to 1% interest on student loans for students who meet the 3 conditions: 1) Attend and finish school for a degree without more than 2 years break from start to finish. (Life happens and people should be able to step away from school and come back) 2) Don't miss any payments for more than 6 months in a row. 3) Are pursuing a degree in a needed the field of STEM or Arts or Trade school. (Going just to learn Japanese for fun wouldn't be included unless you wanted to become a Japanese teacher)

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Before 2010, SS ran annual surpluses of payroll taxes over benefit checks. But the surplus cash was quickly spent by BOTH Democratic and Republican Administrations, which in exchange issued Treasury bonds to the SS trust fund. By 2034 Social Security will become INSOLVENT! Its not the governments money but they've taken it. We need to pass legislation to keep the Presidents AND Congresses hands out of SS. Additionally, SS needs to have more citizen input. In the Military, we had the TSP which allowed you to invest your retirement into different mutual funds. If Social Security is really a right of the people then the individual American should have a say in what happens to their SS money and how they invest it.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

Our forefathers set the requirements to be a Congress to 25 years of age and citizenship. Why? Because my job is to represent you. When I am elected Ill be the youngest person in Congress at the age of 30. I have already served you as a soldier in the United States Army and put my life on the line for this country. I am not here for lobbyist, corporations or special interest groups. I am here for the People of my district and indeed all people of the United States of America. Unlike my opponents, I do not answer to an all powerful political party, who will ostracize me for not voting the way they want me too. I am young so any legislation I pass I will have to live with it. I will not do anything to betray people of my district. I joined the Army because I thought that's where America needed me, now I run for Congress because I know that's where America needs me. To defend the freedoms and liberty of the citizens and be your shield against those who value money and parties over people.

E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you:

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am a father, and my daughters are my main reason for running. I fear for their future in the direction this country is heading. Economically and politically. I believe in people over party, I honestly think we shouldn't have any political parties. I've met with Congressmen Justin Amash (R) and others and heard first hand of how dirty DC is. Yet I walk this path knowing the trails and tribulations I will face. Why? Because I honestly don't trust anyone else to do it and not give into greed, money, or power. Congress needs term limits, we need to get rid of the DNC and GOP monopoly on government, we need to defend the Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic. I will fight for you district 8, I will be easy to reach and get access too. I will come talk to you in your churches, homes, hospitals and sports venues. Its time to revolutionize government. And it starts with you, taking back your future and showing the DNC and GOP your through with their way of doing things!
