Our founding fathers recognized that government continually expands, progressively impinges upon freedoms, and if left unchecked, predictably devolves to dictatorship. They recognized that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The division of power into legislative, executive, and judicial branches, and with safety mechanisms such as the power of impeachment and the convention of states were designed to ensure that freedom will forever prevail over tyranny.

I am a private sector businessman who has lived and worked overseas for over 20 years. I support the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the rule of law.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Privatize Healthcare. That way competition will produce lower rates like eye care and other cosmetic surgery is today. Also consider providing tax breaks to insurance companies who provide insurance to high risk members. Promote coverage across state lines.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Continue to lower taxes, remove unfair trade practices such as tariffs on American productions, reform immigration to benefit America such as stop chain migration - lottery and improve our security from the military to our schools - home and borders.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Continue to reduce income tax for businesses and individuals. Maybe move to a flat tax or a consumption tax. Simplify the tax code.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Keep the economy growing (less taxes and less restrictions). Secure our borders (Build the Wall). Remove Tariffs (balance trade deficits).

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Continue with payroll deductions and / or move to private retirement plans similar to ones used by corporations (IRAs).

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

Dave is a common-sense businessman with domestic and foreign experience. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering - Rochester Institute of Technology Worked for NYSEG as an Electrical Engineer - defended the Cochecton substation with associated transmission line to the EPA. Worked For ARAMCO - the largest oil company in the world Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Drexel University Consulted with Wells Fargo Technical Finance Commercial Instrument Pilot (Land & Sea) - the Citation Jet CE500 Type Rating 2 Master of Arts in Theology - Living Word University and Life Christian University Multiple Technical Certifications from Novell, Microsoft, and Institute of Industrial Research Rescue Diver Certification - Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) Life Member—National Rifle Association (NRA) Member—Sons of American Legion Member—American Legion Riders Member—Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA)

Dave is an economics engineer and business consultant with decades of international experience in strategic operations and technology. Dave held senior engineering, consulting, and strategic positions with Saudi Aramco. Dave served as a professional consultant for Wells Fargo’s corporate offices in Chandler and Scottsdale. He provided financial and technical consulting services to their Technology Information Group. Dave founded Faros Aero Engineering Services and Firearms manufacturing. Dave knows first-hand the struggles families face and what it means to struggle just to meet the most basic of needs. A can of SPAM for dinner or hot dogs was not uncommon. Dave’s parents instilled in him family values, loyalty, and duty to country. His father dropped out of school to volunteer for World War II, earning nine battle stars. Dave’s parents are deceased and they are both buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
