How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Promote for the purchase across state lines. Allow for individuals to form co-ops to purchase as a group. Reform liability insurance to reduce malpractice cost to medical providers Shorten the drug patent term to make generic medicine sooner. Expand the right to try treatment to doctor patient and not to government.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The government should play a minimal role in the economy in general. Reducing corporate taxes. Reducing unnecessary regulations. Improving infrastructure. Airports, Highways, major projects in conjunction with states. Promote fair trade with partners no tariffs either way. Revise the tax code Reducing the time it takes to get permits and Agency approvals. Consolidating so companies and individuals have only deal with one agency.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Gradually lower the corporate tax rate till it is among the lowest. Change to a simpler code. Treat all forms of income as taxable at the same rate. Reduction or elimination of loopholes and deductions.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Create Jobs Better vocational education in areas of skilled trades in demand. Create a business climate promoting growth in the economy. Control of immigration legal and illegal.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I will support and introduce legislation to bring into the 21st century the governments citizenship identity card (the social security card) to a photo Identity card. The photo and number to be maintained in a data base to be accessed by those that need verification of a persons identity. The reduction in waste and fraud in the billions of dollars will be one of the ways to extend the life of the entitlement programs. I support means testing to determine if this help is really necessary based on the parties retirement plans. Someone who has an income of say 4 times the poverty level do they need the social security check? Have to give some thought on that. I support evaluating the retirement age itself as life expectancy increases should the eligibility age be increased as well. Current recipients grandfathered in and those 55 and older unaffected.
