Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

To allow for freedom of the people, to ensure a balance in governance that prevents dictatorship, and to establish the framework of Judeo-Christian values of morality that permits limited government.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian with a daily practice of growing my relationship with the Lord to obey His commands, to trust Him in all things, to know that there is purpose and reason in all things, that He speaks to me through the Holy Spirit, and that my Lord Jesus died on the cross to save me from eternal damnation. Everything I do I do for His glory and for His children here. I am His vessel...

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Job creation, job training, and job retention. Being a part of a system that creates opportunity for all people to be included so they can support their livelihood and be less dependent on government subsidies, is part. Limiting government subsidies to get chronic users off State funds and engaged in training and/or job opportunities, is also part. As told, there are more jobs available now than people resources so we must work on alignment of those resources to the open opportunities. It's a good problem to have, let's take advantage of it!

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Perhaps a balanced approach to coverage plan types will help lessen demands and allow for more people to have coverage. With variable plan types comes cost factors that only work for some. Having a balance between employer-funded vs self vs public funded (for those exceptions in need) is also in order. Overall costs associated to coverage offerings needs to be addressed as rising health care costs continue. Medicaid and Medicare program review also will be pivotal in balancing affordable coverage(s). I would enjoy working in discussion with health care professionals and organizations like WHA to assess what is all possible and to begin addressing solutions.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Job creation, job training, job retention, lowering tax rates, investing in the State's infrastructure, making sure the 'environment' is attractive and functional to help draw future residents. More people will result in more opportunity. Having attractive career opportunities makes much possible.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am an efficiency professional. In all I do, I seek quality, execution effectiveness, satisfaction, and sustainable models that endure over time. I've been thrust into leadership roles within various organizations serving a variety of industries demanding navigation in variable cultures for 45 years now, and I've never failed. Working within the legislative branch of our State government in the same fashion will allow me direct exposure to address all issues from the inside/out. With 45+ years of business leadership and results, I bring the highest level of experience, capability, passion and leadership to this role. My character and conviction is strong, my judgment and is sound, and my courage to do what's right, even if against any current, is unsurpassed. Results with Ramthun are a given!
