I voted in these primaries and general elections:

2010 General Election, 2012 General Election, 2014 General Election

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I'm a supporter of HR490, the Heartbeat Bill.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Secure our borders, e-verify, ensure freedom of religion for Judeo-Chrsitian beleivers as well as other believers.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Man is made in God's image, which is why we have inaliendable rights, but government is supposed to be something that the people govern. Unfortunately, as government grows, it begins to infringe upon those rights. OUr sustem of checks and balnaces and the limitation of power is designed to keep the government working for the people instead of working against them.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian, and those precepts guide by own values and decisions. I believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God, and that someday each of us will be called upon to answer for our own actions in this life. I make it my aimt o be a follower of Jesus Christ

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

First, we need to address the issue of waste in the industry—and that 31 cents of every dollar goes to ineffective administration costs. We need to implement systems and processes focused on creating real results for patients, with the patients at the center, the providers following, and the payers last. When making cuts—whether financial or resource-based, those cuts go in reverse—with patients' health being the last to be affected.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The government can best serve the economy by backing up regulations that strangle our businesses, tens of millions of which are small businesses with fewer than 500 employees. By over-taxing and over-burdening these business with regulations, many of which are contradictory to each other, we create a hornet's nest of challenges that many businesses spend more time navigating than doing the work they were created to do. When they are freed to do this work, they can do more, hire more and create more for our economy. We have to sunset the regulations and actively decrease. We have to be able to justify each one with its benefits for the Amercian economy and its people.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Flat tax or consumption tax for all.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Reduce the tax burden and the over-regulation on our businesses and let them free in order to hire more. Ensure that our workforce is qualified for the types of jobs we have available. (South Carolina, as many other states, faces a huge employment gap in jobs that are available (typically high-knowledge or tech jobs for our manufacturers or their suppliers) with no one to fill them.) We can focuse on middle and high school for this poplie We also need to address our labor participation rates, which continue to drop. Unemployment is only one piece of the puzzle and if we look at labor participation it shows a bigger picture, where people who aren't finding jobs or who cannot maintain employment are dropping out of the workforce. We need to address the issues of "Why" within that demographic.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

We can't Raise the social secuirty age and allow for people to be incentivized for private invesmtnes. Decrese the burden on individuals and let them plan for their own retirement. The government said it would not WHen they started it was a 1:50 ratio from senior to worker. Now we are quickly approaching 3:1. Average life time of 5 years, now some people drawing longer than they have worked. Need to ensure that seniros have dignity but. Cnanot borrow against.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have a long history of problem solving and of creating real solutions. I created a mobile platform for the individual management of personal healthcare records, years before smartphones existed. Out of this platform, I commercialized the patent and started my own company —now New Oceans Health Solutions—that has continued to grow. I serve as a consultant to groups across the nation when dealing with questions on healthcare
