Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

America was founded on the concept of personal liberty and a large part of personal liberty is privacy. I don't want to know what people do in their bedrooms, their bathrooms, their churches, in their voting booths, and with their doctors. Those things are private and none of us should be able to tell any other of us what to do in those situations. That's the American way.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Instead of being the instigator of world-wide extremists with our military in dozens of countries fueling the hatred of America and our imperialist methods, we should be helping to improve the quality of life of people here in America, and all over the world, regardless of what those people might do in their bedrooms, their bathrooms, their churches, their voting booths, and with their doctors. Everyone responds more positively to a helping hand than to a pointed gun.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Some of us have a tendency to want to control others of us - power-hunger. Some of us, when earning a lot of money, have a tendency to want to earn even MORE money, to the exclusion of everything else - Greed. The founding fathers did not foresee the shortsightedness both would bring about. We need a fourth branch of government that determines which proposed laws are all about greed and power-hunger and are not ensuring the long-term continuation and advancement of our society.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I'm a pantheist. God is everywhere and within everything.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Universal Single-payer Healthcare - "Medicare for All" is where we MUST go if we are to survive as a country.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Because all new dollars come from the federal government, it is up to We-the-People to determine who to pay and what to buy with those new dollars to ensure the long-term continuation and advancement of our society, all civilization, and the entire planet. Some industries are clearly threats to those goals and should be encouraged via federal tax policies to change their ways. Other industries are necessary to those goals but can never make a profit so should be encouraged with federal grants to continue the good work they do.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

At the federal level, taxes simply remove US dollars from the economy and destroys those dollars. Federal taxes can be thought of as the overflow drain in a bathtub that is constantly filling up with water - new dollars created by the federal government anytime it pays people or buys things. The question is, where are dollars not being put toward their best use in ensuring the continuation and advancement of our society? Those places are where federal taxes should be increased. What behaviors are a threat to the continuation and advancement of our society? Those are behaviors that should be heavily taxed at the federal level to be discouraged? What behaviors ARE contributing toward the long-term continuation and advancement of our society, civilization and the entire planet? Those behaviors should be encouraged with very low federal taxes.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

A federal job-guarantee program would be the biggest economic stabilizer and poverty alleviation program, and general fear reducing thing we could ever do to make America what we've always known it could be.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

US dollars are created by keystrokes that simply increase bank accounts. Whatever our priorities are, we can pay for. If we want to pay military contractors many hundreds of billions of dollars a year, we do. If want to pay people over the age of 65 many hundreds of billions of dollars a year, we can. It's up to us to decide who are the best people to pay and what are the best things to buy to ensure the long-term continuation and advancement of our society, civilization, and the entire planet.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I've been rich, I've been poor. I've started businesses, I've worked for businesses. I've experienced the best things in life, I've experienced some of the worst. I'm an engineer and see the world as a series of problems seeking solutions. All the biggest problems we face as a civilization today have relatively simple solutions, if we can get greed and power-hunger out of Washington. Along the way through this life, my experiences have taught me that we all have just one precious life and there's no need for us to criticize and hate each other as we're all on our personal journeys toward enlightenment. I want to make life easier, reduce the fear, and create a more peaceful existence for ALL of us. Especially I want to ensure our kids and grandkids have a bright future. Unfortunately, my generation - boomers - have left this world a lot worse than it was before we got here. I want to fix that.

There are just seven things I want to work on when I get to Congress. 1. Better Healthcare. 2. Better Social Security. 3. Better Education. 4. Better Veteran and Soldier support. 5. Better government - get big money out of politics. 6. Better equity - reduce income/wealth inequality before it destroys us. 7. Better Future - plan for rising seas and stop climate change.
