Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

ONLY in cases where the mother's life is in jeopardy.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

The U.S. Government needs to take a stand against all nations that provide terrorist breeding grounds, and supply ZERO dollars of aid to countries that are not favorable towards American values, such as the right to liberty, freedom of religion, and speech. We also need control of our boarders and the use of extreme vetting before allowing anyone from a country that sponsors terrorism in any fashion. Be proactive in "rooting out" any terrorsit organization and destroy them, as well as the monitoring of social media platforms used by terrorist organizations.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Madison wrote: What is government itself but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: You must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself. I believe this to hold true.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian, who believes God sent his only Son to die for our sins and that only through Christ can we find redemption. I believe that Christ intends for us to love one another equally and to not pass judgement on to others. I believe that individual liberty and personal responsibility go hand-in-hand. I believe that only God gives us our rights and not government and that we are a government of laws, not people. We are all created equal, but that does not guarantee equal outcomes.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

We need to abolish any regulations preventing health care insurance companies from competing across state boarders, it should be the same as any other service in a free market. The free market should and always will control prices and access, barring any and all government interference. There must be tort reform to prevent unnecessary tests and treatment, and to protect doctors from frivolous law suits to lower the cost of liability insurance. Prices for procedures should be posted in doctors offices or online so that patients can shop for the best price, quality, and patients can review ratings from other patients. There should be a government safety net that is means tested for those who truly cannot afford healthcare.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The government should have a very limited role in boosting our economy. Unnecessary regulations and taxes should be cut, and the government should be as small as is practical, while fulfilling the legitimate purposes of the state. Although, some practical regulations should be in place to prevent unscrupulous business from harming or cheating the public. Competition and free enterprise will always produce innovation and excellence. Consumer choice will drive competition, keeping prices low and product quality higher.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

We need to start with a Flat Tax code, and then move towards a Fair Tax as a way to transition smoothly.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Sound infrastructure to promote businesses. Return education to the state and local level. Demand FAIR trade with our trading partners around the world and renegotiate unfair trade deals. Lower or eliminate business taxes. Lower or eliminate capital gains taxes. Eliminate unnecessary regulations, and every regulation implimented should be revisited every five years and approved by congress.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

We must start by stopping the use of Social Security funds for the general budget while gradually paying down the current IOUs to the fund. We must raise the age of retirement for those who are under the age of 45. People who are 45 and under should be allowed to put a percentage of their Social Security into a personal retirement account (tax deferred)re generations should be given the choice to opt out of Social Security entirely by contributing to their own retirement funds.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have lived in the Georgia's 12th District for 48 years. I was a Richmond County Fireman, served in the United States Army as a Military Policeman, served as a Deputy Sheriff in the Richmond County Sheriff's Department and was a successful businessman for over 20 years as owner of Commercial Military Systems located here in Augusta, GA. We were responsible for creating 300 jobs in our community while manufacturing and exporting American Made Products. I attended Augusta College and was the past National President of The Korean American Association. I have traveled the 12th District listening to the needs and concerns of our citizens as a candidate in the past two Congressional races and have gained a great understanding of the issues that confront our citzens. I have a servants heart and believe that our Representative should actually Represent the People and NOT a Party or Special Interest.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I have watched in dismay as our Representatives of BOTH Parties have abdicated their responsibilities and allowed our Government to drift away from the Constitutional limited Government that our Founders invisioned. We must return to our Constitutional Principles and the Balance of Power both horizontally between the three branches of Federal Government and vertically beginning with the people, local, State and Federal Governments. We must also return to "regular order" for appropriations and adopt a Balanced Budget Amendment using an Article V Convention of States. I am also for the repeal of the 16th and 17th Amendments eliminating the IRS and returning the selection of Senators to the State Legislators returning their loyalty to the respective States. I believe in America FIRST.
