Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Under NO circumstances should abortion be allowed

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Certain inalienable rights were granted to us by God that ensures that we can live as free people. These rights, limitations on government, and separation of powers were enumerated in the US Constitution as our road map for government.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian first and foremost and am guided by my Christian world view.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Two good bellwethers are Principles of Liberty and the Colorado Union of Taxpayers. Both are the conservative ratings for the Colorado Legislature. I finish at the top of these rankings each year. www.principlesofliberty.com/colorado www.coloradotaxpayer.org

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Economic freedom, that means free markets and less government.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I don't think government should be involved. Deregulate the healthcare industry including providers and insurers, this will lower costs. Allow health care providers to indemnify themselves from legal liability through contract with patients, to lower legal costs.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Zero, government should stay out of the economy - let the free market work.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

MBA in Finance, with direct private sector experience managing investments and cash for small businesses (the Colorado State Treasurer manages $6 billion in cash funds and serves on the board for Colorado's public pension system)

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I'm known as the "Combative Conservative" in the Colorado Legislature with arguably the most conservative voting record in the history of the legislature. I am the only conservative in the race for Colorado State Treasurer who has a history of standing strong for conservative values. Plus, I'm the only candidate who has direct private sector experience for the job. Not to mention, I'm the only person in the race that has a history of winning competitive races. So, if you want someone who is qualified, conservative and can win - I need your vote!
