Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

The United States should help defend Israel from attack by its enemies.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Innocent human life must be protected during all stages of life from conception to natural death.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Support the military and those allies who are attempting to eradicate threats in their own countries. We need to identify these individuals and groups so they can be destroyed. However, we need to identify those who are faith based and not a threat in order to work together to avoid aggression by ignorance which undercuts the rights of Americans.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Opinions can dictate decisions. Experiences form opinions. Desparate experiences require checks and balances from others to maintain objectivity in determining the rule of the majority. The separation of powers is so important and too many times today we see the courts legislating versus interpreting the laws and constitution.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God and I believe that the most important base that we have in life is our faith and family. As a sitting county commissioner, husband, father, grandfather and friend, throughout my life, I have prayed and asked for Divine Guidance in formulating the decisions that I need to make on a daily basis that will affect all those I interact with. I believe that it is not an accident when God puts you in places that you do not expect and you are able to help people, whether through some action or advice or words that provide direction or solace to another. When you understand the enormous responsibility our Creator puts on us in our journey through life, it is very humbling and fulfilling to be His servant and do His Will. I am blessed by my family and friends and all those I interact with and I thank God every day I am allowed to serve His people.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I have a conservative voting record as a Commissioner over the last 7 years. I am an active member and in leadership with the Knights of Columbus, where I support traditional marriage and all pro-life issues. In fact, we have purchased ultrasound machines throughout the country and had them placed in clinics that assist women in making a decision to keep their child and either raise their baby or place the baby up for adoption. I am also a life member of the NRA and I support the Second Amendment. I understand the issues of dealing with immigration and foreign policy and have discussed matters with representatives of foreign countries to better support our mission for a better world. I have members of my family who are in the military and foreign service and have always supported those who currently and in the past defend and have protected our freedoms.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I would seek the repeal of the Affordable Care Act and coordinate coverages through the private insurance industry.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

As I have done on a local basis, I would strongly urge and support the public - private partnership when it comes to economic development. We need to utilize the experts in the private industry and look to them for research and growth of the economy. I see too many businesses that have had to deal with overregulation and support the President's initiative of removing regulations that have become overkill for industry. It is not government's responsibility to provide everything. Government should be there to support and not dictate.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

I am in agreement with the Trump Tax Plan and was invited to be a part of a group that attended a White House session prior to the Conference Committee meetings to fine-tune their thought process . Again, my participation as a county commissioner and how it would affect local governments and the people was an honor and I will continue to work diligently towards the initiative to continue to be a representative of the people.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Meaningful job creation is important and welfare to work initiatives are paramount in bringing down the unemployment rates. Vocational technical training is extremely important. As a county commissioner, I visit our schools and companies in our areas to identify their needs and how we can assist.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

The money source that comprises the funding for Social Security benefits must be protected from being utilized for any other purpose. Adjustments must also be routinely implemented to insure the growing list of those who are contributing as well as those who are receiving benefits. A good economy helps in this situation.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I attended grade school and high school in the heart of our district, as well as being educated at Villanova University as an accounting major. I live in the District, work in the district, worship in the district and serve the people as a county commissioner already. I have the strongest roots in the district and, as a county commissioner, I am already working with the leadership of every county in the 9th Congressional District on various initiatives. Two terms of representing constituents in the district while overseeing the implementation of programs within the confines of a $150,000,000 budget best prepares me for this job. Listening to the people of the district and not to outside interest is what is most important. I will not make promises that I cannot keep.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am a public servant, not a politician. I have a proven record of actually doing things for the good of the people versus using the proper buzz words and doing nothing. This election is not about how much money you have or endorsements one has received. It is about serving the people you represent and being their voice in Washington. Please keep me in your prayers and I thank you for your support. God Bless.
