Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Life of the mother is in danger, incest or rape if reported immediately.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Thoroughly Vet immigrants; limit number of immigrants from well know terrorist countries; Unite the civilized world to jointly fight terrorism; repeal or scale back 1990 law that prohibits barring people from entering the US based on beliefs; build the types of walls that our ICE recommend; Sanctions against countries that harbor terrorists. Death Sentence for known, convicted terrorists; cut off all aid to countries that promote terrorism through payments to families of radical Islamic terrorists that die as "martyrs" in attacks. I support our current President in his current plan which has been successful thus far.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Man's nature is toward tyranny, this is why our founders developed checks and balances through our three branches of government; The Executive, Legislative and Judicial. Our forefathers also created many different checks and balances among our Congress to prevent one party from completely dominating policy during their term and then swinging the opposite way when another party was in the majority. These checks and balances create a more stable, consistent Republic.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a devout Christian who practices her faith in deed and actions. I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and our road-map on this earth. I believe the 10 Commandments should be posted in public buildings and schools...The Laws of Moses are what our western judeo-christian laws are based on. I also support the beliefs of our founding fathers who declared you cannot legislate morality, that it must be taught using the Holy Bible in both home and school. There were a lot less suicides, overdoses and school shootings when the Bible was taught in schools. If we treated our schools like a business and tracked actions and corresponding consequences we could easily see results and take action to resolve our current school crisis. We need common sense back in government!

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I do not know of public information other than those witnesses who know me. I have not held public office before.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I believe the government needs to stay out of healthcare. The only system that works is the free market system. I believe it is unconstitutional to force someone to purchase health insurance. I would support going back to the previous system prior to passing the Affordable Care Act which has been proven to be anything but affordable. We need to repeal the ACA. I also do not agree with any type of government mandated medical treatment. I believe in informed consent.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The role of government should be to maintain a military, maintain law and order and maintain a strong currency. Government should tax only as much as necessary, spend only what they need and regulate as little as possible so our free market system could thrive.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Simplify. Simplify. Simplify. Continue to build upon reforms made by our current President and Congress.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Encourage small businesses to grow, encourage the creation of new businesses, minimize red-tape and crippling regulations on businesses. Less government, less taxes and greater flexibility of the free markets. Promote made-in-America goods and services, address the trade deficit just as our President is doing by raising tariffs until the trade balance comes aligned.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I would never vote against Social Security benefits because these benefits are necessary for our senior population as well as our economy.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I would be only the 4th member of congress to have experience working with stocks and bonds and one of only 18 members that have banking experience. I have an Accounting degree from University of Louisville and some accounting experience. I would be one of only 36 with Real Estate experience. My education and work experience in accounting, finance and economics is rare in either the house or senate!

E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you: 502-643-8841

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am a mother and grandmother and I am the oldest of nine children . I was raised in a very conservative, hardworking family where we were taught excellent Christian family values. I have a vested interest as well as a civic obligation to leave our children and grandchildren with a country that is as good or better than the one left us by our ancestors. I will work hard to represent my constituents in the 3rd District and give them a voice in Congress which has not been so with our current representative. I will bring Commonsense to Congress!
