Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

I support using a party caucus to nominate my party's candidate for Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives, and I pledge to vote for my party's nominee.

I voted in these primaries and general elections:

2010 General Election, 2010 Republican Primary, 2012 General Election, 2012 Republican Primary, 2014 General Election, 2014 Republican Primary, 2016 General Election, 2016 Republican Primary

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Never. As a Christian I have a respect for Life from conception to the grave and will never support abortions. But, I know that abortions can not be stopped, so I will oppose the use of my tax dollars to perform abortions.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The founders of the Constitution believed that all men were created equal and did not want total power in the hands of one person as in Europe with its Kings and Queens. Thus the 3 branches of Government; Legislation branch to make, change or repeal law; Executive branch to sign or veto the Legislative laws and the Judicial branch to interpret the laws. And only the people have the right or the power to remove members of congress and the president out of office with their vote.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I do not just believe or think that there is a GOD, I know there is a GOD. My values are based in the old Testament and in the teaching of JESUS CHRIST the son of GOD the father almighty.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I have run as a Republican and supported Republican values since 2006. I won the 2014 election with less than 13K against a democratic incumbent who had the full support of her party and about 200K. As a state representative I voted to reduce property taxes and I also voted for open carry. My voting record on the house floor will support my conservative values.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Lower business taxes, less regulations and better pay for employees would help. Plus, we must also stop employers from hiring illegal immigrants as cheap labor; we must hold this employers accountable or this practice will continue and our unemployment will remain high.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Well, affordable healthcare is the real issue and I leave that issue to the Federal government and insurance companies. But adequate? America gots the best Doctors in the world and they are accessible to every person in America. Never has my family or I been denied medical care when needed, but could I pay the medical bill, no.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Well, so far this century we have seen President Obama give away trillion of taxpayers dollars to bail out giant cooperation like AIG, the auto industries and other cooperation and no one got mad at President Obama for boosting the economy with their tax dollars. Now, President Trump is giving back tax dollars to taxpayers with a double stander deduction on their tax return and cooperation are getting tax cuts to help boost the economy and the people are mad. So, I guess the best way for the government to boost the economy is to give taxpayers money away to cooperation only.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

According to the U.S. Constitution as long as I am a legal U.S. citizen over the age of 18 years and register to vote I can run for any public office. But, I also have a 4 year college degree and 2 years as a State Representative, plus over 12 years experience in meeting and working with people in my community.

E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you:

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am like many residents of house district 144; I have thrown a paper route, worked an eight hours or more job and cleaned offices until 10pm at night, So I knows what hard work is. I am retired and with my strong faith in GOD believes our nation needs to return to the roots of our U.S. and Texas Constitution which were adopted by our Judeo Christian Faith. I have talked to Residents about how important Education; Job training; Taxes; immigration; Business Opportunists and Limited Government are to their families. But, I am Pro-Christian and believes that every Christian must follow the morals and values that favor a Marriage between a Man and Woman only, that we must have a respect for Life from conception to the grave. I further believes that as Christians, we must stand up against those who want to undermine our Christian morals and values upon which this nation was founded and that we cannot have Life, Liberty or the Pursuit of Happiness without our Christian Faith.
