Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

With the advances in medical science, there are very few instances of medically needed abortions. In those rare occurrences where it is one or the other or both die, I would support the mother's choice but it is important to have those conversations between the husband/partner/guardian and wife/mother-to-be and then also with the physician prior to admittance. Advanced directives should be in place.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The Founders were educated in the history of man and then also witnessed the corrupting nature of power. It was important to secure a checks and balances so as no one man could rule.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian and believe that God sent His Son to Earth to redeem us of our sins. We are sinful in nature and fallible thus requiring a constant relationship with God through the Church and Christian fellowship.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

You can review my responses on key issues via my website at or I do not have a public voting record since I have not held public office prior to this race. I understand that my voting record in my future role as State Rep will be held to scrutiny and welcome the spotlight.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

The best way is to get government out of the way of small business creation and operation and allow them chance to flourish. I applaud the recent attempts to lower the corporate tax rates and also increasing the incentives to allow companies to repatriate money. All aspects allow a business to re-invest into itself. This investment helps increase promotion or creation of a new product, increases labor to make that product, increases sales, and increases tax receipts at every level. Sales tax, income tax, and corporate tax volumes go up without a need for tax rates to go up.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I stand behind an open market, increasing competition among providers. Each citizen should have the right to choose a plan catered specifically to their needs and pay accordingly.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The government should get out of the way and allow the economy to flourish through limiting extraneous regulations and crippling taxation.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

My experience as a taxpayer and property owner qualifies me first and foremost. To bolster that, my education in critical incident management has helped solidify a method of decision making based on hard evidence and facts. My career started as a researcher and now in Quality Control has served me well. Some days you're the dog and some days you're the chew toy, but both scenarios have provided invaluable experience in problem solving and relationship development and retention.

E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you:

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I entered this race as an angry taxpayer. We sat on the sidelines watching as the myth that increased home value equals increased burden on infrastructure and services infiltrated local dogma. Taxes have continued to rise and many have reported property taxes doubling over the last 10 years. One of the primary culprits is school finance and it is why it should be the primary focus during the next session. The taxpayers deserve it, our children deserve it, and the peace that comes from having one less thing to fight over would be a start to closing the gaps that have divided the party over the past few years.
