I have been named a Top Courageous Conservative by the Texas Conservative Coalition for each of my three legislative sessions. I have an A+ rating from the NRA and three Courageous Defense of Life Awards for passing pro-life legislation.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Support for free enterprise, low taxes, limited government, and a predictable regulatory environment.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Deregulation of the health insurance 8ndustry to foster more choice and competition in the marketplace. Get government out of the way when it comes to the doctor-patient relationship.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

A minimal role. Government's role is to protect our unalienable rights and promote equal liberty under the law, not interfere in the free marketplace.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am a two term incumbent who has been successful at passing policies that are pro-life, strengthen our second amendment rights, lower taxes, and protect private property rights.
