Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I support Life. I believe abortion is wrong, with the exception of incest, rape, or medical complications to the mother. Abortion should always be the last option. I believe that medical advances achieved today should be considered in overturning Roe v. Wade.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

We should support a strong military and work closely with our allies. Our Nation is now effectively fighting the Global War on Terror (GWOT) under the leadership of SECDEF Mattis. During my military service at the National Counter-terrorism Center (2004-2009), we had developed a plan to leverage all elements (the whole of government) of National Power to defeat radical Islamic Terror. Regrettably the previous administration opted not to follow the plan and was weak and inept in prosecuting the GWOT.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

There is no doubt in my mind that our Founders were inspired (Providentially), and by their study/knowledge of history to understand the benefits of creating a form of government that has checks and balances. Each branch of government has a responsibility to how our republic functions. In recent years many in Congress have been derelict in their duties to draft and pass legislation, and properly manage the power of the [Nation's] purse.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

John 3:16 New International Version (NIV) says it best: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". I believe in Jesus Christ. He is my Lord and Savior, and that one day I will be with him for eternity. Until that day, my mission is to be like Jesus and demonstrate his Agape Love to everyone I meet. Like we say at Oak Hills Church, "We are the Body of Christ called to be Jesus in every neighborhood in our city and beyond". I value family and friendships. I value my Nation & Freedom. And, I value every Blessing (Health, Resources, and Experiences) in my life.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

First and foremost, get the Federal Government out of managing healthcare. I would support efforts at the State level. Reduce the tax burden on all Americans and limit spending (Balanced Budgets). Find & support Marketplace solutions that make common sense. Reduce regulations that limit Free Enterprise to provide health insurance to sell policies across state borders. Require insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Same as above, reduce regulations that limit Free Enterprise to compete both here and overseas. We need to get to Balanced Budgets annually, and eliminate our National Debt.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Simplify it and reduce the rates across the board, as it has been done this past December. And remind everyone in Congress to be good stewards of the tax dollars that are spent.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Reduce regulations that limit Free Enterprise to compete both here and overseas. Improve the education system so that more emphasis is on jobs of the future. STEM and Tradecraft (HVAC, Plumbing, Carpenters, etc...). If under performing schools can not improve and serve their community, than other alternatives should be pursued so that those children have an even chance at achieving the American Dream.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Properly fund the program and leave it alone. There was always promises of using a "lock-box", to keep it safe. Congress needs to stop waste and pork and balancing the budget. We need to find a long term solution that will benefits and assure Americans that the benefit they pay into today, will be there for them when they can draw from it. If that cannot be achieved, then lets "sunset" this program.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I'm a Veteran. I have faithfully served my Nation as a US Marine, for 32 years, both on active duty and as a reservist. Achieving the rank of Colonel. I am MISSION oriented. I am a Leader and Mentor, and have served in times of crises and peace. I know how to collaborate and work with others to achieve successful outcomes. I have worked in the private sector, and experienced first hand the burdensome regulations that inhibit business and growth. I am not a career politician. I will not serve more than 3 terms as your Congressman. I was inspired my mother who legally immigrated to the US and demonstrated to me and my brothers how hard work and dedication can allow you to achieve the American Dream. My ethos is "Semper Fidelis", the Marine Corps' motto for "Always Faithful". I will faithfully serve the people of the 21st district.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

My campaign is a grassroots effort. I am not a career politician and I live in the 21st District. Just as I served my Nation for over 30 years, I desire to represent every member of the district. As your Congressman, I will be responsive to you. I hope to inspire more Texans to serve our communities at every level of government. I ask you for your vote. Thank You. God Bless You, God Bless Texas, and God continue to Bless our Nation. Semper Fidelis!
