Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Life begins at conception. All unborn children deserve the full protection of the Constitution, and the opportunity to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

We should enforce our current immigration laws and build a southern wall. I believe a Constitutional amendment should be passed that removes any "violent belief structure organization" from being protected as a "religion" in our Country. Those that preach hatred and violence against another violate one's ability to the pursuit of Life, Liberty and Happiness as described in the Declaration of Independence. These are the founding tenants of our Country. Violation of these tenants removes one from the very protection that it provides.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Our Creator's unalienable rights and the right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. This combined with the need for checks and balances to be clearly defined.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Proud & Active Christian that has a personal relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ. This relationship is the yard stick upon which I measure my beliefs and values.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

See www.CopeTexas.com which documents my public presence and positions on economic and social matters. I believe the Constitution must be the baseline upon which make all government spending and social deciscions. I believe in smaller government, less government spending, the elimination of the IRS and reducing the national debt. I am a strong supporter of the Constitutional amendments with specific emphasis on the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 10th amendments.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I am promoting a market based system that is accessible to all Americans. State boundaries for selling insurance should be dismantled so that competition can thrive thus resulting in the reduction of healthcare costs for all. Groups of like illnesses should be able to band together at the national level to allow for the biggest voice in the competitive marketplace. Obamacare (Affordable Care Act) should be repealled in its entirety. Small companies should be allowed to join into a single group to achieve the best voice in the competitive marketplace.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

I am a monetarist that believes the free flow of the dollar is best at boosting our economy. The IRS should be eliminated and replaced with a 5% Consumption Tax (excluding food & medicine), a 0% personal income tax with no filing requirements, and a 3% corporate sales tax on annual sales that exceed $2,000,000. All sales tax revenue would be collected by the State during quarterly sales tax reporting and then paid directly to the national treasury. The Federal Reserve should be audited. Bottom Line: The Government should get out of the way of free enterprise.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

See Number 31 above.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

See Number 31 above.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Yes, but I believe that a major fix is required after an audit of the Federal Reserve. We must know where we are before we can start a journey to recovery. I do not believe that an immediate rise in the benefit age is a viable solution, but a gradual step up MAY be the only way to salvage the long term viability of the program. Social Security funds should be protected from the Federal Reserve bank loan programs. The Federal Reserve is why Social Security is almost in the insolvent position.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

Aerospace Executive (Retired - 28 Years) with profit & loss program management responsiblities for the manufacturing operations and business development responsiblities on multiple, major commercial aircraft structures through an international supply chain. U.S.Army Lieutenant Colonel (Retired - 25 Years including 10 Active and 15 Reserve) in Supply, Logistics and Military Procurement of major weapon systems and ammunition M.B.A. In Corporate Finance B.B.A. in Accounting ROTC Scholarship U.S Army Accounting Specialist (Private - Specialist 5) Licensed in SEC Series 6 & 63 Licensed in Texas Group 1 Insurance
