Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Personally, I feel in cases of sexual assault, rape, incest or risk of life to the mother, or any variation of these, individual women should be allowed to pursue legal options for the determination of their gestational condition. Proper counseling should be available to fully discuss and integrate all options of sustainability for the unborn with hopes that survival will be the outcome. The ultimate determination should belong to the individual involved including parents of female if a minor child.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Islamic terrorism is a valid threat to our country and the world. Intelligence gathering processes should be allowed to continue both globally and domestically. Militarily, operational control for anti-terrorism objectives should be delegated to each branches leaders to be pursued in line with established objectives. Enhanced vetting processes for immigration applicants should be implemented to better identify at risk individuals from anywhere desiring integration within our society.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

America's Founders utilized the rationale that because mankind involves the human factor, measures should be included to minimize the ability of any one individual or groups to leverage an unfair advantage over others that might be based on unethical or egregious intent. With separate powers in place, the public is better protected from one sided attempts at self-serving or greed intent actions.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a Christian with an upbringing in a Baptist household, certain values towards mankind and humanity in general are common. I believe that Christ has created a heavenly kingdom where everyone is welcomed through acceptance of Jesus as our Savior. Assuming the responsibility of completely providing for family and assisting others as capable is the right thing to do.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I believe strongly in the US Constitution as written through present time. Individual liberties are addressed in the Constitution and permitted in defined areas up to the limit that one individual's liberty does not infringe onto another's liberty. The preservation of the American way protecting life, liberty and property will be an endless objective I will continue to fight for. I endorse a strong immigration stance that each applicant should be only accepted based on merit.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Healthcare coverage should be an open market, competitive product just like all other types of insurance that a majority of citizens purchase. By removing state border restrictions, consumers could shop for adequate coverage terms from insurance companies nationwide. This factor of competition would create a more favorable environment on coverage terms, lower deductibles and more affordable premiums.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The government's primary contributor to the economy is maintaining consumer confidence in our country. With the recent tax code improvements, the economy will experience a stimulus both by additional earnings retained by workers and increased business reinvestment that will result in expansions of job opportunities. Additionally, the Federal Reserve has contributing measures available to assist in economic stability.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

With the recent tax code changes made by President Trump in December 2017, I feel we need to experience and validate the forecasted economic benefits before initiating any additional modifications. President Trump and many common-sense Americans appreciate a simpler tax code that allows individuals and corporations to contribute a fair share towards support of this nation.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

The best way to bring down unemployment is to allow the natural process of economic growth to increase job opportunities. Increasing the academic and job skills of our youth transitioning into adulthood is crucial for the future success of the country.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

The Social Security Retirement Fund has to be isolated from any access for any other intent beyond servicing the pensions of current or future recipients. A periodic if not continuous reassessment of the condition to meet future obligations should occur. Adjustments, which might include increasing contribution percentages, will have to be evaluated. America's workers and retirees have not had a choice in participation, so it the nation's responsibility to uphold the full faith and credit expected by the people.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

Having matured in life with the achievements of higher education degrees in Economics, Business Administration, and Healthcare and Nursing Management, combined with 30 years of career experience, I have a thorough understanding of economic factors influencing this nation. Through entrepreneurial experience, I have developed businesses that created jobs for over 200 people with annual budgets of around $25 million. We are expected to operate within a fiscally responsible budget in household and business, now is the time for the state and federal governments to meet that same standard.

E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you: (903) 752-5627

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am a proud, Christian conservative Republican who strives to make a difference for today's and tomorrow's generations. Many have commented that this is not a Christian country. While it is true that our country rightfully does not have an established religion, I believe that as a Christian, I am prepared to uphold the Constitution and fairly execute the responsibilities bestowed upon a Representative of the people, all of the people. This country is on the recovery path to a position of strength and respect both domestically and abroad. Allow me to represent District 5 and support the efforts initiated by our current Administration.
