Questionnaire

Congress should repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

Strongly Agree

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

No Answer

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Strongly Agree

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Strongly Agree

Current regulations on domestic oil exploration and drilling are more restrictive than are necessary.

Strongly Agree

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health care and a livable income.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Voters, Congress, Supreme Court

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I believe that every life deserves the protection of the government. Roe v. Wade is an example of judicial activism at its worst, running contrary to the Constitution’s clear mandate to protect life. Rare instances may occur where we cannot save both the life of the mother and the child. In such cases, we should save the life we can.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

James Madison articulated best it in Federalist 51: "But what is government itself, but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary."

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a committed Christian who believes that God created people with a free will to make their own decisions regarding what they choose to believe. I recognize that our society was founded by looking to God for wisdom and guidance, which is why we created the greatest Republic the world has ever seen. I will fight those who want to take God out of America’s public square.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I am a limited government constitutionalist who believes government exists to protect our liberties, not to take them away. I support free people, free markets, federalism, the constitutional right to life, the 2nd Amendment, religious liberty, American sovereignty, and a strong national defense.

Additional comment from candidate:

With respect to the unanswered questions 17 and 21, these are issues reserved to the states under the 10th Amendment. With respect to unanswered question 4, I believe radical Islam is incompatible with the U.S. Constitution. I pledge to protect American interests from radical Islam, domestically and abroad. _________ I vow to go to Washington, D.C. and do my best to restore the constitutional liberties our Founders intended. I would appreciate your vote on Nov. 8th!
