Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

There have been many scientific advances since Roe vs. Wade. We now know that: • Life begins at conception • The unborn child’s DNA is separate and individual from the mother and there for not part of the mother’s body. • That the unborn child acts according to his/her own will and not the mother’s. I believe abortion should only be used in cases of rape, incest, and to save the mother’s life. I believe it should be the mother’s choice. I believe she has the right to know all her options both pro-life and pro-choice before she makes such an important decision. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN USING ABORTION AS A FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU GOT PREGNANT. Unborn children have rights too, Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Even in death they have a right to the dignity of a burial. I am against the use or sale of baby body parts for scientific research or any reason.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

"In order to lay a due foundation for that separate and distinct exercise of the different powers of government, which to a certain extent is admitted on all hands to be essential to the preservation of liberty" “The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive and judicia in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self–appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny” (James Madison, Federalist No. 51, 1788).

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian and I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He atoned for our sins and he loves all of us. In Etymology, the name America means Children of God. I know that God prepared the Founding Fathers before the foundation of the world to bring forth this great nation called America and The Constitution of United States of America in these the last days. I know that America is a Holy Land and the Constitution of the United States of America a sacred document. I know that above unalienable rights there is only God, not government, not political parties, not any individual person or group. We may choose not to exercise them but no one has the authority or right to deny them to others. No one, not government, not schools, not political parties, nor individuals or groups have the right to deny others their unalienable rights because they are offended by them or for any other reason.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

anyone who desires to know more about my conservative views may visit my website at http://paulcook4liberty.com My stance on some issues are as follows: I support a Flat income tax at a percent(%) of the gross international income less than 1 billion dollars and 2X percentage tax rate for gross international incomes 1 billion dollars and greater. (ex: 10% X 100 million and 20% X 2 billion). If it is salary, investment income, inheritance, etc does not matter. I support a balanced budget Amendment,a 35% to 45% cut in salary for all elected, appointed officials including Congress, Senate, and the President, the payoff of the National debt and debt not be allowed except in war time. I support term limits for Congress, Senate and the Supreme Court, the removal of all exemptions from laws with the exception of Religious Institutions, the outlawing of Political Party National Committees because of corruption bordering on treason and returning power to states.

Additional comment from candidate:

Paul Cook is NOT a Multi-Millionaire like Steve Cohen. I am an upper-low income American, who grew up in Memphis whose party roots go back to Thomas Jefferson and a strict Constitutionalist. I am an analyst by trade. That is one of my gifts. I have had to live on welfare and food stamps. I have had to make that decision whether to buy food or pay bills. I understand the needs of Americans. My Family is multi-racial. Dignity, self-respect and self-worth are some of the things people have lost. I intend to help them find it. I am a U.S.M.C. Vietnam era veteran. I volunteered and served my country from 1971 – 1982. I have had to ask myself the question that every American serviceman ask himself. If I am called upon to do so, are the unalienable rights which God has endowed us with and the U. S. Constitution worth dying for. I testify that the answer is yes. No one can know, comprehend, or understand the value and cost of Freedom except those who have served.
