What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Our inherent want to be free from tyranny and to have personal liberties. The founding fathers saw monarchy, religious theocracy, dictatorial rule, and the system of classes as the antithesis of what it meant to be human / free! It led them to break away from the tyranny that existed in the rest of the world and toward forming a Constitutional Republic / the United States of America; so that people could choose their own destiny free from government tyranny, and dictatorial religious theocracy
Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.
I personally believe that the United States Constitution is the most important document for our Constitutional Republic because it came directly from our Founding Fathers! I'm an ardent Constitutionalist.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I do not believe that the government has the right or the authority to dictate the decisions that we the people decide to make in our own lives. People should make their own decisions and personal liberties shall not be violated. I firmly believe in the rights of individuals to make their own decisions with no interference from government. I believe whether it be on the issue of gun ownership, abortion, freedom of speech, freedom of expression, religious freedom, the right to put a substance in one's own body, the right to marry whom one loves, owning land, or any other freedom that I did not mention, that the government has absolutely zero right or authority to tell individuals how to live their own lives, or make their own decisions. The government should stay out of people's pocketbooks, bedrooms, and personal lives.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a humanist. I believe that it is my own personal responsibility to help people who are in need when they need help, and to treat others the way that I want to be treated. My beliefs guide the way I live my life everyday. I refuse to judge others for beliefs that they have that are different from mine, and I would do anything to defend another person when their rights are being violated. I believe in standing up for people's freedom to express whatever their opinion is no matter how much I disagree with it or not, and I make sure to always be kind to people that I come in contact with. I give to charity, volunteer, and participate in my community whenever I have the time and I strive to create a more peaceful and prosperous world for everyone on this planet.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Somewhat Liberal
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I'm a liberal libertarian. I believe that the founding fathers were brilliant revolutionaries who crafted a great U.S. Constitution. In my view, a government that is too big encroaches on the rights and liberties of ALL Americans. I am a free speech advocate who believes that all speech should be protected. Separation of church and state, religious freedom, privacy rights, the right to bear arms, and all other rights granted by the Constitution shall not be violated. I believe that our veterans have been mistreated and lied to by our government. When they come home, they often have issues like PTSD and sometimes even commit suicide because we do not take care them. I will fight to end veteran homelessness and reform the system so that veterans get adequate & timely care. I also believe that no American should die because they don't have access to the basic care that they need to survive. Campaign finance reform, term limits, a safety net, and tuition cost reductions are also necessary!

Additional comment from candidate:
1. Repeal the individual mandate, replace it with a public OPTION (no government force) 3. I'm pro 2nd Amendment 5. Photo I.D. should be required and extremely accessible/obtainable for all U.S. citizens 7. No government involvement 9. I support fiscal responsibility, But spending limits won't work economically (need exceptions for recession years) 11. Religious freedom and escaping theocratic tyranny to set up a republic established our Constitutional framework of limited government. 13. I'm pro school choice as well as making sure that public education is appropriately funded 14. Government has NO right to get involved in personal issues 16. Businesses can make their own decisions, I'll shop elsewhere 19/20. All forms of religious theocracy and violations of the separation of church and state in government are a threat to the U.S. Constitution 21. Government should stay out of peoples' marriages period! 22. Healthcare should be accessible to all who need it & (no income)
