Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
The child is always innocent, regardless of the sins of the father or the irresponsibility of the mother. The case of the life of the mother has been brought up, but I don't see that as a real possibility with modern medicine, but more of a leverage point to justify keeping abortion on the books.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Man will always pursue his best interests. Often, power is pursued as a means to those ends. By creating a system of checks and balances, the founders brilliantly created a system to prevent tyranny by one person. Furthermore, the 10th amendment (when followed, unlike today) allows the states to develop their own laws based on the culture there, provided they don't conflict with the constitution. This effectively de-centralizes power while allowing the states to compete for citizens and industry
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in a benevolent and loving God who matches our faith and morality in word and deed. He also allows our free will and temptation to lead us astray, but never abandons us. He is a resource for all who choose to seek Him and has a plan for our lives if we choose to embrace it. That plan involves a constant journey of trials and successes, often without us knowing which is which. The key is faith, and with that faith all things are possible.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

The US Constitution is a remarkable document - the confluence of human experience, thoughtfulness, faith and courage brought this nation from a colony to a world superpower in less than 100 years. The founding principles, which are the basis of Capitalism, raised the living standards, life expectancy, and happiness of the citizenry. Gov't intrusion was minimal - the Constitution laid it out clearly. Class mobility was seamless; the poor could get rich if they were industrious, the rich could become poor if they were irresponsible. The gov't did not and more importantly could not pick winners and losers. There were no lobbyists, since the law wasn't able to be bent to help one business over another. That is the basis of my conservatism. The gov't is there to keep us safe and protect our God given rights. Not to redistribute money or guide human behavior. Gov'ts role has become blurred by politicians using policy to buy votes and sell influence.

Additional comment from candidate:
I am very proud to be an American. Blessed is probably a better word. My campaign slogan is "Renew the American Dream". As a former professional race car driver and team owner, I have truly lived the dream. I have also seen the negative impact an intrusive government can have on society. The founding fathers would be appalled at the level of involvement it has in our daily lives. People need to be accountable for their actions and to each other. As a nation, we need to reduce taxes and regulations, repeal Obamacare, rebuild our military and national defense, respect our veterans by providing proper care, and restore prosperity to all who are willing to work for it.
