I've been the Lake County Coordinator of many Conservative candidates during their primary runs, such as David McSweeney for U.S. Congress and Illinois House, Patrick Hughes for U.S. Senate as well as supporting more strict constructionist judges on the Lake County Circuit Court.

Additional comment from candidate:

Illinois is a land of abundant resources: an incredible lake exposure that serves as an abundant freshwater supply as well as a recreational haven; a global financial center; a nationwide transportation hub for highways, railroads, & air travel; vast farmlands; a fantastic university system; an awesome downtown; wonderful centers for the arts; state of the art industry; a skilled workforce; and, most importantly, old-fashioned Midwest values. So, how do we end up with one of the worst credit ratings in the country? Because of bad government policy, cronyism, and corruption. The State of Illinois is in a fiscal mess but I believe its better days are ahead if we can incrementally start making effective changes. The first step is to take away the Michael Madigan/John Cullerton veto-proof super-majorities which will enable us to increase the level of debate on the floors of both chambers. Only then can we start implementing meaningful and transformational reform.
