Congress should repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

Strongly Agree

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Strongly Agree

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Current regulations on domestic oil exploration and drilling are more restrictive than are necessary.

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health care and a livable income.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I do not support abortion under any circumstances.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

We are a fallen man and as such greed, control and sin is in our nature.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in Jesus Christ, The Son of God, who is my Lord and Savior. I believe that we are each called to a higher purpose to serve one another as part of God's plan. My values are based on my Christian principles and my traditional upbringing in a hard working American military family where you were encouraged to be independent and personally responsible for your life and your decisions. Where Faith, Family, Freedom and Free Enterprise are the ideals we hold dear then and still. Where these values are worth standing up for.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

When I was in a position of authority and influence I initiated and voted to bring prayer back to our city council meetings. I was a strong voice and voted in support of policies that would provide greater rights to property owners and reduce government regulation. I was a voice of reason and consistently held myself, my colleagues and city staff to a higher level of service for our citizens.

E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you.

Additional comment from candidate:

Thank you for your consideration of my candidacy for U.S. Representative in TX District 35. Our nation needs, actually requires, citizen servants to step forward to bring the values of the people to Washington and not Washington to our people. We need hard working Americans to take their place as citizen legislators for a season and I am such an American. District 35 is where I live, have a small business and serve my community and with your help, it will be where I will serve the people that live there also. America matters to me. Together we can do better. Together will do better. Respectfully, Susan Narvaiz
