The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

It's never okay to purposely take the life of another human being.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

All people have a fallen human nature. Power tends to corrupt.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My spiritual beliefs and values are formed by the Word of God. The greatest commandment is to love God and the second greatest commandment is to love your neighbor. That's why I'm running for Congress.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Additional comment from candidate:

There is an old line, “What’s a nice girl like you doing in a place like this?” With all the political nastiness, many wonder why a decent person would enter such a vicious arena. The reason is simple. I love my country, I love my family and I care enough about both to commit my life to preserving that for which our founding fathers lived and died. Our loyalty must lie with the principles that made our nation strong. We must stand for the Constitution, limited government, and personal responsibility.
