What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Mankind by nature seeks to accumulate power. That is why the framers enumerated the powers of the federal government. They recognized that God is the author of human freedom, not government. By limiting the powers of the federal government, the Constitution seeks to safeguard this God-given freedom from being trampled upon by big government.

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

Additional comment from candidate:

I am a business owner with more than 50 employees who depend on my good judgment, and I have the same sense of personal responsibility to defend conservative values and protect our way of life as a Texas State Representative. Following my first session in the Texas House, I was honored to be named a Faith and Family Champion by Texas Values Action, score 100% Pro-Life by Texas Right to Life, be named a Champion of Free Enterprise by the Texas Association of Business, and be endorsed by the National Rifle Association for re-election. I will always work to honor the trust that has been placed in me by the voters of my district.
