Free enterprise and the right to private property turn mankind's natural self-interest into the most productive economic system there is.

Strongly Agree

There should be a strict constitutional spending limit for state and local governments that would tie the rate of spending to the rate of population growth plus the rate of inflation.

Strongly Agree

Marijuana should be legalized and regulated like tobacco and alcohol.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Man's desire for absolute power and self-interest led the founders to carefully separate, balance, and limit the powers of each branch. They knew that too much concentrated power would lead to tyranny. They brilliantly defined checks to ensure that each branch had the ability to protect itself from usurpation by the other branches of government. Powers were granted powers by the people to the government and not from the government to the people.

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Voters, Constitution, Congress, Supreme Court

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

We should value all life regardless of circumstance. When lives of a mother and child are at risk, doctors must make the decision on how best to treat both patients in accordance with their oath and to provide the best quality care to both patients.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a believer and follower of Jesus Christ and while yet a sinner, strive to follow His example and live according to the scriptures. My values come from and through that relationship. Though undeserving, we are rescued from God's wrath by grace alone, through faith alone, because of Christ alone and it is for God's glory. From these beliefs, I value life as created by God, value liberty to do what is right in the eyes of God, and value the pursuit of happiness within the will of God.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

Since I have not held public office, you will not find a "track record". The organizations that I associate with and the views that I hold are in unison. I strongly support life, fiscal and personal responsibility, limited government, and national sovereignty. We must follow the U.S. Constitution. We should not subject ourselves to any foreign entity or law. We should actively support and defend Israel and our other allies. We must have a strong defense, including a secure border.

Additional comment from candidate:

As a consistent, constitutional, pro-life candidate, I humbly ask for your vote to serve as the next state representative in house district 89. We need leaders to step forward to ensure that conservative leadership is in place to pass conservative legislation for an even greater state of Texas. I will be one of those leaders. As a note to question #12, the U.S. Constitution establishes the United States as a constitutional republic, because a pure democracy is not suited to a large, expansive nation and can lead to the tyranny of the majority.
