Additional comment from candidate:

I built a very successful Ace Hardware store in Fredericksburg over the past 30 years. I never knew I would run for office so I never thought it was important to build a political resume. I have served thousands of customers, employed hundreds of employees, donated to hundreds of organizations and charities, volunteered and was a member of numerous clubs and organizations and raised 4 daughters as a single father while running my business. I have also served as a deacon and elder at my church. I am now remarried to an amazing wife and partner and have 3 more daughters and 4 grandsons. I believe I am uniquely qualified and prepared to represent my district in the Tx House with honesty, hard work and trustworthy leadership.
