Strongly Agree

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise and the right to private property turn mankind's natural self-interest into the most productive economic system there is.

Strongly Agree

There should be a strict constitutional spending limit for state and local governments that would tie the rate of spending to the rate of population growth plus the rate of inflation.

Strongly Agree

Marijuana should be legalized and regulated like tobacco and alcohol.

Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

The founders established pure democracy in the Constitution because they believed that it is the best form of government to ensure the safety and equitable treatment of all citizens.

Free-market competition for education dollars, rather than a government monopoly, would create a better education for all students.

Where minor children are involved, divorce laws should be reformed to include mutual consent of both parents and an increased waiting period, unless there is fault or abuse.

Agree

The Ten Commandments should not be displayed in public school buildings.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Pretty much none with the exception of the well being of the mother. If the mom is going to die the child will die but I have never seen this situation in my over 20 year history of being a physician. I also have never spoken with a doctor who has ever seen this situation.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born again Christian. I believe the Bible is the word of God and is His revelation to man. I am not for a theocracy but the values outlined in the Bible are the same as the values that will lead to peace and prosperity for us.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

There are rankings that show I am very conservative across the board. Rice University ranks me as a top 10% conservative in the House. They rank all votes. Empower Texas ranks me as a 100 or A+. I have an A rating with Young Conservative of Texas. I am A rated by the NRA and endorsed by the NRA. I am endorsed by Texas Right to Life with a 100% pro-life voting record. I am across the board conservative.

Additional comment from candidate:

I am a straight forward honest conservative. I have a wife, a job, children, and a good life. We need to make our country and Texas strong. The establishment politicians have failed and we the people need to send one of us to Austin to represent us. I have done an exceptional job and you can check my record. It has been my honor to serve and I would be honored to return to Austin to keep moving conservative legislation moving forward. I would appreciate your vote. Thank you and God bless.
