To prevent the death of the mother and possibly in cases of sexual assault or rape.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

They understood mankind’s natural tendency for power and control. They drew from their personal experience of the absolute tyranny of King George. Our rights are unalienable and granted by our Creator; meaning they cannot be given up or taken away. Government exists to protect these rights. They were defined to create a check & balance between the branches of government and to enable the people's right to alter or abolish government when it becomes destructive to these ends.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God, country and family. I believe we are all on a spiritual journey moving at our own pace. I am seeking forward spiritual movement and rely on my Pastor to provide guidance and direction, and occasionally motivation. I believe in the fruits of the spirit and work to show evidence of them every day. I value life, family, the church, friends and integrity & honesty in everything we do. I believe people should be held responsible for their own actions. I believe we are promised equal opportunity, not equal result. That is determined by our decisions and our effort. I enjoy helping others. Early in my professional career I found a need for connection with people, deeper relationships than just an acquaintance. I have a desire to help others achieve their goals and tackle obstacles. My entire career has been dedicated to serving others and that is the mindset I will take to office. I will be a servant leader to God and the people of Ohio's 8th district.

Very Conservative

My entire life has been in the private sector. Much of what is available publicly is located on my candidate website and this survey, the right to life surveys and required financial disclosures. I am a fiscal conservative and live within my means. This is supported by a limited amount of debt and a high credit rating. We are savers and invest in our future. This is validated in candidate financial disclosures. We are accomplishing our financial goals through the values instilled in me by my parents and grandparents, investment in knowledge, hard work, many extra hours, fiscal responsibility, good financial guidance, a little luck and the grace of God. You can see my public views on the issues in the blogs on my candidate website and Facebook page. These are my thoughts and beliefs written by me, not a paid professional writer. You can also view my responses to Ohio's Right to Life Surveys on their site and search local news media publications where I have gone on the record.

When I contemplated running for Congress I asked myself what I would offer that no other candidate would. I will never abandon my values or beliefs for the sake of being elected! I am not seeking a political career I am seeking to influence legislation, requiring limited government, fiscal responsibility, policies that encourage and support a free enterprise, capitalist society. Most importantly I seek to protect our liberties as citizens. These liberties cannot be secure if we allow the removal of the only firm bases for which they exist. Clearly stated in our Declaration of Independence. “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator…", our country was founded on principles that are knowable by human reason, where others are more biblical and add theological context. If we continue to allow the assault on Christianity our rights as individuals will no longer exist.
