There should be a strict constitutional spending limit for state and local governments that would tie the rate of spending to the rate of population growth plus the rate of inflation.

It provides a balance of power so that a strong dictatorship or socialistic governance cannot take over but that democracy OF and FOR the people is maintained.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I do not support abortion, however in order to end the 98% of abortions that are done due to convenience I would be willing to discuss a pass for protection of the mother and perhaps rape. Relaxing on the rare instances of this these two conditions would save millions of babies. Therefore in order to move legislation these two instances deserve to be discussed.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian which means that I believe that God came to Earth in the form of a man, Jesus. He lived a perfect life, died on the cross and was raised to new life three days later. His death on the cross became the atoning sacrifice for any person who would choose to follow Him. This sacrifice is what provides for the forgivenes of my sins and the ability to have a personal relationship with a Holy God.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I was awarded an award by the American Conservative Union (ACU) in DC because of my voting record. This award was given because my voting record was one of the most conservative in the entire KY House. This was my record even though I often voted across the aisle.

Additional comment from candidate:

Although a strong conservative, I am a representative to all. As an engineer I use facts over emotions to make my decisions. Therefore I will listen to both sides and use their facts to weigh my ultimate decision. I will not vote straight party but instead based on good policy. I have voted across the aisle when I felt like it made good conservative sense regardless of which party initiated the bill. For that reason I was awarded the coveted award from the ACU as one of the highest voting conservatives in the state of KY.
