I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.
If you start with the Preamble it would begin with "We the People" and conclude with the Constitution of the United States and from there proceed to Congress and the Supreme Court and affirmed by God. Anything else is just wishful thinking.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Women should have the unfettered opportunity to terminate a pregnancy if there is a life threat to the mother. In the past, I have not positioned with rape victims; however, for those women who have been raped, they should be given consideration. I know there have been many women who gave birth to their babies and raised good children into adulthood. But again, how many women were/are victims of violent offenders--do they, or we, as a society want to take the risk of continuing a criminals' behavior that may be linked to a genetic anomaly? For that reason, I suggest that there be given careful consideration on how to proceed with rape cases for both the woman and for community.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
What in the nature...is the premise to this question, which unfortunately is never directly addressed. Maybe because it causes too close of a scrutiny of self or nation in the mirror. Perhaps it's because most of us know better...but choose to ignore, that which is moral, principled and just... Because it forces us to make difficult decisions that goes against our otherwise freewill nature to feel guilt free.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I'm a Christian. I don't preface it with a denomination. I just am...A Christian. I don't believe in saints, but I do believe in saintly behavior, or to be more precise, behavior becoming of Christ. As a Christian, I believe that there is only one true God and that Jesus is our/my personal savior. And until his second coming, there are only pretenders and false prophets. I believe the Constitution was founded on the Christian faith and God's Commandments and Christ's precepts. It is with that moral compass I try to live my life, as best as I humanly can, and try not to judge others, but rather to encourage people to try to live up to and fulfill the potential that God and Christ has given them. And when all else fails us, we should all know that God never will, and remember that what doesn't kill us will make us stronger (through Christ our Lord...Amen).
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I don't know that I have a public record to use in defense. I am not, nor have I ever been, an elected official. And by many I may be considered a party outsider. I was my district's party nominee as elected by the people in the primary election of 2014. But I never received any help from the party. I didn't take it personally. It just seems rather that the party has written off the Indiana 7th Congressional District--at all levels. This district has been held by a democrat for the past 41 years, and most of that by the same family name of Carson. First the grandmother and now the Grandson, Andre. However, my run against him showed that he is vulnerable. I am the first nominee to cut his lead in half...and in an off-election year. This time, with God's help and the will of the people, we will be victorious and once again have a conservative represent the 7th district.

Additional comment from candidate:
As a political candidate of any party, I'm sure we all wish that we could easily craft the perfect words for perfect moments that sailed us through the election process. But that would mean that we were able to do something that no one has done before...please all the people all the time. Having said that, my best and only promise to you, the people, is to do my very best at whatever it is I set myself to task. My goal is not to be a career politician. I had a wonderful career, 33 years of military service, retired Lieutenant Colonel. Now I just want to take what I've been so successful at for so many years, that of being a leader, and apply my leadership skills to help get our nation back on track to prosperity again. After that, like most normal Americans, I want to retire retire...on my rendition of a golden pond. I can do that with your help. Let us all work together for a stronger America and a more prosperous future. Thank you for your support.
