The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

Strongly Disagree

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

To save the life of the mother.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The American Founding Fathers recognized the ambition that exists within mankind's nature. The Founders carefully defined, separated and limited the powers of the Federal Government in the Constitution so that the ambition of individuals in one branch of government would counter the ambition of individuals in another to guard against the tendency of government to overstep its authority.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I have been a conservative leader in the Arizona State House of Representatives. I have fought against tax increases, worked to balance our budget and reduce our debt. I have supported eliminating unnecessary taxes and regulations to allow the economy to grow. I have been a strong advocate for protecting the preborn and supporting traditional family values. I am a strong supporter of the Second Amendment with an A rating from the NRA. I have supported commonsense reforms to crack down on illegal immigration and to help to secure our border. I support strong national defense to protect American interests and to defend our freedoms.

Additional comment from candidate:

I am running for the U.S. House of Representatives because I am very concerned about the direction our country is headed. We have more than doubled the national debt under the current administration. We have failed to secure our borders and enforce our immigration laws. Our allies abroad have lost faith in our leadership and our enemies act with impunity. I am running to be a voice for conservative values, to fight to reduce spending and balance the budget, to support the pro-life movement and our Second Amendment rights, to defend our Constitution, to advocate for American greatness at home and abroad, to secure our borders and enforce our immigration laws, to oppose amnesty, to support traditional family values, to decrease government regulation and grow our economy, and, lastly, to reduce the size, cost and reach of the Federal government and get our country back on track.
