Congress should repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.
The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.
I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
As a nurse, I know that spontaneous abortions, or miscarriages in laymen's terms, frequently occur. If there are laws against induced abortions, women who spontaneously abort are probably going to find themselves subjected to unkind questions and accusations. Mothers and their unborn are ultimately in God's jurisdiction and that should be respected. Induced abortions should be governed by the health care needs of the mother and unborn child. The government should not be involved. A government that pays for the death of unborn Americans will also arbitrarily pay, or not pay, for the care of elderly, imperfect, and disabled Americans. Government's role should be limited to the provision of catastrophic health insurance for every American, whatever their age.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
America's Founders knew that the nature of each of us is to be both good and bad. Their limits on powers serve to protect the individual and collective good from the individual and collective bad.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in God and I am a Christian. Raised in the Baptist church, I share the Judeo-Christian belief that your ends do not justify your means. Therefore, unlike Extremist Socialists (AKA Communists) and Extremist/Radical Islamists, I do not believe that the means of lying, cheating, stealing, and killing are justifiable.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
In defense of my self evaluation as conservative: publicly available online through Amazon, AuthorHouse, and Barnes and Noble websites is my book "Undermining the U.S. Constitution," which I first self published in 2012 with the title "How the Communist Manifesto of 1848 Blueprints the Actions of the Democratic Party and President Obama Today." In addition are my website dianevann.com and blog dianevann.authorsxpress.com.

Additional comment from candidate:
Within the church, marriage means a union between a man and a woman blessed by God. Outside of the church, it is a civil union. The term "marriage" connotes either in or out of church weddings today, so it is already less meaningful.
