What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The nature of mankind drove America's Founders to carefully define, separate and limit powers within the Constitution. Mankind is inherently flawed and, there are people who are driven by a thirst for power, pride, and envy. By limiting powers and creating checks and balances, our Founders ensured an environment where no one man or woman could force change alone.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I came to Christian faith early in High school and that compelled me to attend Baptist University of America, majoring in Theology and business. The training there gave me a Christian foundation and world view to base my life on. I grew up on military bases around the world seeing first hand how blessed by God America is and how easily it could be lost if we continue to stray from His teachings. I am firmly convinced that we can downsize government and stop infringing on the people's rights and freedoms. I have been involved in many types of Christian outreach both here at home and overseas.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I have personally funded and run campaigns to remove corrupt local politicians. The biggest problem is that the replacements were seduced by the system and I had to go back and remove them after just one term. With the help of other grass roots individuals we defeated the largest proposed Tax increase the "State wide Tsplost". I personally bought and paid for 50K stickers used by grass roots groups all over the state in that effort. The problem is the next year the Georgia legislature just passed another form of Billion dollar tax increase by changing the gas tax.

FROM QUESTION 13. Definition of pure democracy : democracy in which the power is exercised directly by the people rather than through representatives. The founders set up a democratically elected Constitutional Republic where "We the people are the sovereigns", but we elect representatives who should be doing the will of the people inside the confines of the constitution. The key difference between a democracy and a republic lies in the limits placed on government by the law, which has implications for minority rights. Both forms of government tend to use a representational system where citizens vote to elect politicians to represent their interests and form the government. However, in a republic, a constitution or charter of rights protects certain inalienable rights that cannot be taken away by the government, even if it has been elected by a majority of voters. In a "pure democracy," the majority is not restrained in this way and can impose its will on the minority.
