18. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

History demonstrates that the lust for power is a human trait which stems from the premise that men were basically evil, a theological concept based on the doctrine of human sinfulness- a basic Christian teaching. Jefferson argued for “binding our leaders down with the chains of the Constitution” as an answer to the temptation of absolute power. Thus, our nation emerged with a limited government that included checks and balances on the evil tendencies of man.

19. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Congress as vested by the People to make laws. Voters are not mentioned in either document, only the right to vote.

Life of the mother if the pregnancy is not of gestational age of viability outside the womb.

21. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born again Christian. I got saved as a teenager, and was baptized just a few years ago. I believe we are made in God's image and we are all precious and equal in his eyes. God loves us as his children and we must love and respect each other though we may not always approve of the behavior of others. It is not our place to judge, but to forgive, and to treat others as we would want them to treat us.
