Strongly Disagree

18. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. History teaches us that no matter the good intentions when power in government is not limited it becomes oppressive. Therefore they gave us a republic and a constitution to limit the power of government.

19. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

Our Creator gave us all rights and we loan them to government to be able to live in an orderly society so God as we individually see him is first, then the people, then the states and lastly the three branches of our federal government.

20. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

No because it is a stepping stone back to abortion on demand and is so rare that it would be hard to find a single instance that there had to be an abortion that it becomes an invalid argument.

21. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe God gives everyone a choice to believe what they will and I have chosen to be Christian, traditional Catholic. My values are Christian based and very conservative. I also believe we must not limit the choices of religion for political correctness because we all have a higher authority to answer to when Eternity calls us home. I believe my relationship with my Savior is both private and public. Private in my personal relationship with my Savior and public in my deeds and example. I believe people will follow a good example more than words alone.
