I have taken an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. Prior to 1972 Democratic legislators had outlawed abortion, Democratic Governors enforced the law and Democratic District Attorney’s prosecuted violations of the law. The U.S. Supreme Court overturned those laws as violating a women’s Constitutional rights under the 9th and 14th amendments. A women’s right to this medical procedure is protected. Her decision to have an abortion is between her conscious, her doctor and her God, not the government.
