14. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The founders' were men of faith and used the Bible as reference in how they conducted themselves politically and in the home. They knew that power does not come from man but from the Lord above and that all strength is given to us so that we may witness to others so they understand the love our Father in heaven has for us even though we don't deserve it.

15. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

The 3 political issues that are of importance to me are: Reforming/Repealing the Affordable Care Act, Reforming Social Security/Medicare and Reforming Education. The health care act was said it was going to lower the cost of healthcare and that we were going to be able to keep our doctor. But it accomplished neither. Health care premiums rose and physicians are not accepting ACA insurance providers. I believe in lowering health care costs and insuring the uninsurable but the ACA is not the way to go. Social Security and Medicare was intended as a safety net for the indigent and now people rely too much on these government programs for their retirement. For people under fifty, we should be allowed to have separate private accounts for our social security just like our legislators do and have a health saving account for our Medicare. K-12 Education is not teaching our kids the fundamentals of reading, writing and math. They are teaching kids what to think not how to think.

16. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

I am pro-life and there is nothing in this world as precious as life and we should do everything within our power to protect life. As a father of four daughters, there is nothing more important to me than their life and the lives that they will ultimately be responsible for and if they happen to have health issues while pregnant that jeopardize their life or the baby's life I hope that the Lord will provide us Godly wisdom to make the proper decision at that time.

17. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Voters, Congress, Industry, Supreme Court, Academia, Professional Sports, Media

18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that God sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins so that we may be forgiven and have everlasting life. The greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart and with all your soul. This is the cure for all ills and worries. God gives us wisdom to use for His good.
