19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I have attended and dedicated my life to First Baptist Church of Conroe for 43 years now. My grandmother played the piano for my church for 30 years and her mother played the piano for this church for 30 prior. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior and into my heart 31 years ago and I am now , along with my wife Fawn who was also raised Baptist, raising our two children with a strong foundation of faith encouraging the principals I was taught growing up . As a leader in my community and in the legislature, I make every decision by first asking God each day for discernment and wisdom and through the power of prayer I do my best to advance the interests of Texans along with those I have been fortunate enough to work with as brothers and sisters in Christ. God given laws that have established our unalienable rights as free men and women and our individual liberties will be most protected by leaders that insist upon limited government and strong adherence to faith .
