16. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

Power corrupts man, that is why there are separation of powers and distinct branches of government. The erosion of the Constitution and the lawlessness of the Executive Branch under Barack Obama show how concentrated power can damage our rights and our country.

17. The founders established pure democracy in the Constitution because they believed that it is the best form of government to ensure the safety and equitable treatment of all citizens.

Strongly Disagree

18. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Voters, Constitution, Congress, and Supreme Court

19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that man is imperfect and only through a belief and devotion to our Lord and his son, Jesus Christ, can we find salvation and redemption. All that we do in our daily lives should be to the Glory of God. I was raised Catholic and attended Catholic school where the foundation of my life-long walk with Christ was laid. I believe marriage is between man, women and God and life begins at conception.
