18. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

The Founders knew that man tends to act selfishly for if he did not, there would be no need for government. The purpose behind the separation of powers and the limitations of those powers was to ensure that the monarchies and dictatorships that the Founders were familiar with in their time would not take root in this country.

19. God, Constitution, Supreme Court, Congress, Industry

20. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

The only occasion as a physician that I can possibly envision would be where there truly is a real threat to the mother. AS a physician, I cannot do harm to a patient under the Hippocratic Oath.

I believe that there is one God. I believe that he will judge the good and the bad and dole out punishment accordingly.
